Walk & talk - April 6, 2026, 1o am - New Port Richey Library

Join us on a Loquat Journey

The New Port Richey Public Library and Farmnet are excited to partner to share the story of fresh harvest loquats in our community.

Loquats grow all around town, and Farment hosts an annual event each April to celebrate this urban fruit

Our Community

Our weekly Walk & Talk Club is going the extra mile!

Join us for a special outing to New Port Richey's own loquat grove. Learn about this bountiful tropical fruit from the Chair of the city's Environmental Committee Dell deChant while touring the local grove.

The walk will begin and end at the New Port Richey Public Library. Meet us in the courtyard!
