The Ninth Annual Collards Festival & Winter Garden Expo will feature

cool weather produce – featuring collards 

bedding plants & seedlings for cool weather

Sample tastings of local collard green recipes 

Prepared seasonal food items for sale

Collard Greens cookbooks 

educational program 

gardening materials

organic and heirloom seeds

locally grown vegetable seedlings

locally grown loquat fruit trees

opportunities to acquire a plot at Grand Gardens

promotional t-shirts for local agriculture projects

What our event Will Feature:

All produce is from local organic farms and gardens, featuring various types of collard greens and including other cool weather crops: assorted kales, arugula, bok choy, Asian Collards (Peking Ta Ching) – among others. Organizers are expecting broccoli but cannot guarantee it. 


There is no charge to attend, and donations will be gratefully received, with 100% of all donations going to FarmNet programming. 


The event is supported and endorsed by the Environmental Committee of New Port Richey and sponsored by the Rotary Club of New Port Richey 


If you have locally grown, organic, seasonal produce to share with the community, contact us at the Facebook page. Proposals for produce sharing at the event will be considered – with priority given to FarmNet supporting participants.
